"Vedete Facce "48"X48" Original acrylic on canvas. The first in a series of large paintings based on black and white photographs I took while in the town of Vitorchiano, Italy. From afar the town appears to be an island of rocks surrounded by vegetation instead of water. I also begin to see faces in this particuliar venue, an earlier version of this painting does have a face painted within it.
